Bio: Jennifer Jason Leigh is an American
actress. Born Jennifer Lee Morrow, she is the daughter of actor Vic Morrow and
screenwriter Barbara Turner, both of whom were Jewish, although Leigh was raised
mostly without religion. Leigh changed her middle and last name, taking the
middle name "Jason" in honor of family friend Jason Robards. Leigh took acting
classes with Lee Strasberg before she began acting professionally as a teenager.
In 1977, she had her first credited role in an episode of the TV show Baretta.
